Programs
Before you apply to a Doctor of Chiropractic program you need to know what coursework it wants from you. This page sets out how each accredited program states that: whether it publishes prerequisites, the units it prints each amount in, and where its own text leaves open which route a statement applies to. Everything here is read from each college’s own pages, captured 3 October 2026; a college whose site refused capture is marked unverified.
Absence in what we checked is not absence at the college. Where this page says a college’s text does not say something, it means the pages listed beside it did not say it on the date recorded.
Each program’s state is one of three: published (a page answers the question), not-published (the pages read do not answer it) or unverified (the pages could not be read).
Of the 19 programs in the dataset: published 17 · not-published 0 · unverified 2.

These are the unit strings the colleges print beside the coursework, credit and degree-condition amounts in requirements.csv, exactly as printed, with the programs that print each one. Rules about how credit counts, such as transfer limits, are not included. Strings that differ only in capitals, in a plural or in an added word are printed that way by the colleges.
Distinct unit strings, as printed: 24. Every page linked was captured 3 October 2026.
At these programs, at least one amount is printed with no unit beside it. Where the unit appears elsewhere — earlier in the sentence, or in a table’s column heading — the source shows where.

Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) standards require eligible applicants to have a 3.0 GPA and 90 total semester hours (135 quarter hours) completed. Students can be accepted under the Alternative Admissions Track Plan with a 2.75 GPA and committee review. An educational institution may contact the Office of Admissions/Enrollment for assistance and advice concerning its particular scholastic curriculum, as well as the introduction of a pre-chiropractic program at the institution.

A program may publish more than one route to admission — a Path, a Pathway, a Track or an Option. In the pages we read, at the colleges below, a statement about coursework, credits or a degree sits beside those routes without saying which of them it applies to, and nothing on the same page says it applies to all of them.
If you have completed at least 90 semester hours and have a cumulative GPA above 2.75, you may apply for the DC program. Admission will be contingent upon review of coursework and an interview. Students will complete their baccalaureate degree prior to graduation from the DC program.
The answer names none of the college’s tracks. The admissions page (captured 3 October 2026) names them: Traditional Admissions Track
, 90-Hour Track Plan
and Less than 90 Credit Hours Track
.
The traditional path is to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree backed by a science-heavy curriculum in the physical or life sciences. Courses in biology, anatomy, chemistry, and physics are highly recommended.
Printed outside the admissions tabs. The page does not say whether the path this sentence describes is the Traditional Admissions Track. The next sentence on the page refers to the 90-hour pathway
.
Recommended Coursework…

The baccalaureate requirement is stated, and then the Alternative Admissions Track Plan. The page does not say whether the baccalaureate requirement carries into the AATP.

Have you completed 24 semester hours in preparatory science courses (half with labs), earning a C or better in each?…
If you haven’t yet met this requirement, your best option might be Palmer’s D.C. Prep Fast-Track designed to help you meet your prerequisite needs.
The prerequisite calculator calls 24 semester hours this requirement
and names none of the three numbered requirements on the admissions page.
Applicants need 90 semester units (139 quarter units) of college-level coursework from an accredited institution and prerequisite coursework, including Anatomy & Physiology and Chemistry. Contact admissions@scuhs.edu for a full checklist.
A frequently asked question. It names none of the college’s tracks, which its admissions page heads Track 1: The Bachelor’s Degree Pathway

Recommended Prerequisites General Suggestions…
Coursework in Anatomy and Physiology (8 quarter credits or 6 semester credits) and General Chemistry (4 quarter credits or 3 semester credits) is required.

and General Suggestions

University of Western States prints, in its catalog, a conversion between quarter and semester credits:
Credit Conversion: • 1 quarter credit = .67 semester credits • 1.5 quarter credits = 1 semester credit • 5 quarter credits = 3.33 semester credits
In the college’s figures, a quarter credit and a semester credit are different amounts. The conversion is printed by University of Western States; it does not say how any other college counts a quarter hour, a credit or a full course.
We did not build a tool that checks your coursework against a program’s prerequisites. The colleges print their amounts in different units — quarter hours, semester credits, credit hours, full courses — and the pages we read do not say how a college counts the units another college prints. Ask the program directly how it will count the units on your transcript.
Each row carries, where the college prints them, the item, amount, unit and word of strength as printed, with the verbatim sentence, the route it is recorded under, the source URL and the date captured. Every count on this page can be recomputed from these files.
