Endorsement or reciprocity
published The statute names two separate routes. Reciprocity (A.R.S. 32-922.01): the board shall issue a license to an applicant who holds a current license to practice chiropractic issued after examination by a licensing board in another state or country in which, in the opinion of the board, the licensing requirements are at least substantially equivalent to Arizona's and the other state or country grants similar reciprocal privileges to chiropractors licensed in this state; receives a grade of at least seventy-five percent on the Arizona jurisprudence examination; and pays the original license fee (A.R.S. 32-922.01(A)). You shall also pay the application fee prescribed by A.R.S. 32-921 and present proof satisfactory to the board that no license issued by any other state has been sanctioned for any cause that is a basis of a sanction under the chapter, except for failure to pay fees, that you have not previously failed to pass the examination in this state, and that you have been engaged in the practice of chiropractic continuously for not less than three of the five years immediately preceding the application (A.R.S. 32-922.01(B)). Endorsement (A.R.S. 32-922.03): the board may issue a license by endorsement to an applicant who meets all of the listed requirements, including active practice in another state or jurisdiction for at least five of the immediately preceding seven years, no adverse disciplinary action taken against a professional license issued by another state or jurisdiction, a grade of at least seventy-five percent on the Arizona jurisprudence examination, and fees; and who presents proof satisfactory to the board that no professional license issued by any other state or jurisdiction has been sanctioned for any cause that may be a basis of a sanction under the chapter, except for failure to pay fees, that you have not previously failed to pass the examination in this state, and that you qualify under A.R.S. 32-921, except that proof of a passing score on NBCE Part III or IV is not required.
