Northeast College of Health Sciences

Formerly New York Chiropractic College. Doctor of Chiropractic program on a ten-trimester curriculum at a single campus in Seneca Falls, New York. Every figure below comes from the college's own pages and carries its date.

Accreditation

Accrediting body for the program
unverified Not captured from the college's own pages in this pass. The college publishes a Consumer Information & Right to Know page, linked from the footer of every page, and refers readers there for institutional accreditation. The Council on Chiropractic Education is the authority for US programmatic status. Note for accuracy rather than for this entry: the college's Physician Assistant program holds Accreditation-Provisional status from the ARC-PA, which is a different program and a different accreditor and says nothing about the Doctor of Chiropractic.
Institutional accreditation
unverified Directed to the Consumer Information page, which we did not open in this pass.
Accreditation action, as the CCE announces it
published The Council on Chiropractic Education’s announcement dated February 5, 2025 (Council meeting January 10-11, 2025) states: The following are final accreditation actions taken by the Council at its Annual Meeting: It lists Northeast College of Health Sciences – Doctor of Chiropractic Program with the action Continued: Following the status review meeting, the Council conducted deliberations and reached a consensus decision to continue the accreditation of the NCDCP doctor of chiropractic degree program. https://www.cce-usa.org/uploads/1/0/6/5/106500339/2025-02-05_accreditation_actions_announcement.pdf · checked 2026-10-05 No later announcement listed on CCE’s news pages names this program.
What this accreditation means for licensure in the United States
unverified No dedicated licensure disclosure was found on the pages we read. Absence in what we checked is not absence on the site. Ask the college, then confirm with the board in the state you intend to practice in. The Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards publishes the board-level answer — its Official Directory sets out, board by board, the criteria for obtaining and maintaining a license, including educational requirements and scope-of-practice summaries. See the FCLB entry on the organizations page for what it publishes and where. The licensure page for where this campus is: Seneca Falls, New York — New York licensure →. Studying in a state is not the same as intending to practice there; read the page for wherever you intend to end up, and confirm with the licensing board there. The licensure hub lists every state documented so far.

Every figure in both columns is the college's own published number. The whole-program column is theirs, not ours — we do not compute totals. The college states the figures rest on 2026–27 rates and a ten-trimester curriculum, that direct costs are billed each trimester, that indirect costs are estimates which vary by individual circumstance, and that tuition and fees are subject to adjustment authorised by its Board of Trustees, with due notice to be given in such cases.

Additional required costs
A $1,713 fee is charged to students in the Doctor of Chiropractic program who also seek the Bachelor of Professional Studies degree, covering the capstone course tuition and associated administration. The college states no additional charges are associated with obtaining that degree.
Discounts and scholarships published
Starting Fall 2025, incoming Doctor of Chiropractic students holding Canadian citizenship and maintaining good academic standing are eligible for a 30 per cent tuition scholarship across all ten trimesters. Northeast alumni and current DC students receive a 20 per cent discount on the college's master's programs. Named entry scholarships include a Merit Scholarship, a Chiropractic Legacy Scholarship and a Presidential Scholarship, awarded in equal instalments across the first two trimesters, plus a set of named alumni and association scholarships for continuing students. unverified Amounts and criteria for the individual named awards, which we did not open.
Northeast publishes a whole-program cost of attendance. The figure a student needs — what the whole thing costs — is published rather than left to be worked out, and it is not something these pages will work out for them. Northeast publishes both columns itself. That is a publishing-practice fact about this college, not a comparison of value with any other.

Program and entry

Program length and format
Ten trimesters, stated by the college as the basis of its published cost figures. Financial aid is packaged over a two-trimester academic year. The college also offers a Bachelor of Professional Studies route alongside the DC program.

NBCE pass rates
Published, and the route is now confirmed. Findability path: the Consumer Information & Right to Know link in the footer of every page → the Student Outcomes section of that page. The Student Success page in the main navigation is not the route, and that earlier candidate is closed.

The college's Doctor of Chiropractic program page also signposts it, telling a reader that to learn about graduation rates, licensure exam performance and board scores they should visit the Student Outcomes section on the Consumer Information page. Two routes, both from the college's own pages.

The college states the requirement in its own words: In keeping with the CCE Policy 56 requiring public disclosure of student performance, accredited U.S. programs must disclose up to date results of student performance on national board examinations on the program website. The table is described as annual and overall weighted averages of the four most recent years' licensing exam success rates.

The college also publishes what its table counts, which is a separate fact from the rate itself. In its own words, the table reflects all Northeast graduates passing National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) Parts I-IV, or the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board (CCEB) Components A-C, or have provided proof of licensure to practice chiropractic in a state, province, or country in lieu of licensing exam performance. A reader comparing this figure with another college's should know it is not composed only of NBCE passes.

unverified The figures themselves, which were not read in this pass. Separately, the college publishes in its own marketing a 89.5 per cent graduation rate for the DC program and a 0.0 per cent federal student loan default rate, the latter attributed to US Department of Education reporting as of September 2022.

What the board figure measures
Published, and the college states the composition of its own denominator.

Three routes count toward the figure, and one of them is not an examination at all. The college also describes the table as annual and overall weighted averages of the four most recent years' licensing exam success rates. unverified Whether a time window applies is not stated.

Colleges documented here state different measures under the same field name, and each is recorded in that college's own words rather than compared. See publishing against interest for why a college stating the composition of its own denominator is recorded there.

Student organizations present
unverified Which student association chapters are active, and whether any association membership fee is covered. The college publishes a Clubs & Organizations page.
Tuition adjustment notice
Published, in the college's own words: tuition and fees are subject to adjustment authorised by the Northeast College Board of Trustees, and “in such cases, due notice will be given.” Material to anyone planning a multi-year budget from the figures above.
Publishing practice
Publishes one representative trimester AND the whole-program total, in the same table. No prior-year figures alongside the current ones on this page. Cost figures for every program the college runs are published on a single page rather than split by school.

Student clubs and organizations

What a student actually does outside class is the part of a program nobody publishes comparably. This section records the categories of organization the college recognizes rather than a roll-call of bodies — any one college’s list is already a selection.

Categories of organization — two, with a stated purpose for each
The college publishes its scheme in the words of the executive director of its Center for Student Support: “Our clubs and organizations are all student-led, and they fall into one of two categories: technique, which helps to augment learning; and professional which help to hone leadership skills.”

The two categories are published with a stated purpose for each, rather than only with what belongs in them. The same source names a use for club activity: a platform for experiences outside a course's curriculum, “for instance, lobbying for chiropractic legislation.”

How the college publishes it
A named list, explicitly marked as partial. The college publishes examples of currently active clubs and states they are “not limited to” those named. Saying a list is partial costs nothing and tells a reader exactly how much weight to put on it.
What the published examples cover
The categories represented in the college's own materials include technique clubs, specialty and practice-area clubs, student government, and a diversity and belonging club the college names on its values page as one it supports.

Two further category types are published. A state chiropractic association student chapter, a state-level body running as a campus organization, and a student chapter of another country's national association, which fits a college drawing students across a nearby border. Both are categories rather than endorsements, and neither is named here as more significant than any other club.

unverified The full current roster, and whether clubs run at both the Seneca Falls and Long Island locations. Third-party aggregators list specific club names for this college; those are not reproduced here, because an aggregator is not the college.

Membership cost
unverified Not published. Another college states the distinction directly and it is worth borrowing rather than paraphrasing — Sherman College publishes: “You can join as many clubs as you'd like at no cost, and there's no obligation once you join. Some clubs offer certifications, which may require purchasing learning materials and attending seminars; these usually involve additional commitment.” unverified Whether the same holds here — Northeast does not say. Ask the organization, and ask specifically whether a certification sits behind it.
Does the college cover any national membership fee for its students?
unverified Not stated for any organization. Whether any other college publishes such coverage is unchecked. Any college publishing this about any organization.
Open to pre-chiropractic or other-school students?
unverified Not stated. The college describes clubs as student-led and addresses them to enrolled students, but does not say whether anyone outside may attend.
Which nationally affiliated organizations run here
unverified Partially published, and explicitly incomplete. The college names some affiliated organizations among its examples and states the list is not exhaustive. The organizations page lists, in each entry’s student block, the college rosters on this site that name the body. If a particular organization matters to you, ask whether a chapter currently runs — and treat that as true of every body equally, not just the largest ones.
How a student joins
Through the Center for Student Support, which the college states supports the organizations on campus. Its published guidance is that a student who wants to know how to do something, including join a club, asks. No route here runs through us.
Last checked
September 2026, against the college's clubs and organizations page, its feature on student clubs and organizations, and its values and belonging page.
The same observation recorded at the other colleges documented here, because it holds again and reporting it once would make it a fact about one college rather than about the profession. The organizations this college names span technique practice, specialty interests, student governance, a state association chapter, another country's national association, and a club organized around diversity and belonging. All named by one institution, in one register. The profession holds genuinely different accounts of itself, and sometimes all of them are inside one institution.

Board examination fees — not shown in the published cost table

Northeast's published Doctor of Chiropractic cost table contains no board or licensing line.

The six programs documented before this one all place NBCE board fees inside the cost of attendance somewhere — as an allowance in prose, as dated line items, or as a standing row. Northeast's table lists books and supplies, housing and food, transportation, personal expenses and loan fees, and stops there.

What that does and does not mean. It means the published table does not show a board fee line. It does not mean the college excludes board costs from the cost of attendance it uses to package aid — the page directs readers to the college catalog for further cost-of-attendance detail, and we have not opened it. Absence in what we checked is not absence in the policy.

Recorded as a negative data point on a question that is answered for every accredited program at once or published for none. Board fees are $710 each for Parts I, II and III, $1,585 for Part IV and $450 for Physiotherapy, read 5 October 2026; the NBCE’s fee schedule prints no total — set out on the earnings page. Whether that money sits inside this college's aid budget is a question for its financial aid office, and it is now on the list.

Sources. Northeast College of Health Sciences' own published pages, checked September 2026: the Tuition & Costs page (carrying the 2026–27 Doctor of Chiropractic cost of attendance per trimester and across the ten-trimester program, the Bachelor of Professional Studies fee, the ten-trimester basis and the Board of Trustees adjustment notice), the Scholarships & Aid page (the Canadian citizenship tuition scholarship, the master's program discount, the named scholarships and the default-rate figure), and a college learn page carrying the graduation-rate figure. Fields marked unverified were not found on those pages and are not filled in from anywhere else — including annual tuition figures circulating on comparison sites, which for this college describe institution-wide or undergraduate averages rather than the Doctor of Chiropractic rate. Rates are set annually and subject to adjustment; check the college's current page before budgeting, and confirm accreditation with the accrediting council and licensure requirements with the relevant state board rather than with any third party, including us.

Nothing on this page is a ranking, a recommendation, or a comparison. No school pays to appear here, to change a field, or to have a peer removed. Every program is described in the same fields at the same length, including the ones we hold no content about.
