Parker University

Doctor of Chiropractic program on a trimester system at a single campus in Dallas, Texas. Every figure below comes from the university's own pages and carries its date.

Accreditation

Accrediting body for the program
unverified The university maintains an Accreditation page linked from the footer of every page. We did not open it in this pass and are not naming a council, a term or a date from anywhere else. The Council on Chiropractic Education is the authority for US programmatic status and is the place to check it.
Institutional accreditation
unverified Not captured in this pass.
Accreditation action, as the CCE announces it
published The Council on Chiropractic Education’s announcement dated August 4, 2026 (Council meeting July 10-11, 2026) states: The following are final accreditation actions taken by the Council at its July 2026 Meeting: It lists Parker University (PRKR) - College of Chiropractic with the action Continued: Following the status review meeting, the Council conducted deliberations and reached a consensus decision to continue accreditation of the PRKR doctor of chiropractic degree program. https://www.cce-usa.org/uploads/1/0/6/5/106500339/2026-08-04_accreditation_actions_announcement.pdf · checked 2026-10-05 No later announcement listed on CCE’s news pages names this program.
What this accreditation means for licensure in the United States
unverified No dedicated licensure disclosure was found in the footer or the tuition pages we read. Absence in what we checked is not absence on the site — the university's Consumer Information Disclosures section is where such a page would sit. Ask the university, then confirm with the board in the state you intend to practice in. The Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards publishes the board-level answer — its Official Directory sets out, board by board, the criteria for obtaining and maintaining a license, including educational requirements and scope-of-practice summaries. See the FCLB entry on the organizations page for what it publishes and where. The licensure page for where this campus is: Dallas, Texas — Texas licensure →. Studying in a state is not the same as intending to practice there; read the page for wherever you intend to end up, and confirm with the licensing board there. The licensure hub lists every state documented so far.

Campus

Dallas, Texas

2540 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75229. Trimester system; the university defines its academic year as three terms — fall, winter and summer.
Tuition and direct fees, 2026–27
$14,130 per term full time, defined as 16 to 30 credit hours; $624 per credit hour below 16 credit hours. Student fees $1,000 per term. Application fee $75, non-refundable and one-time. Tuition deposit $150, non-refundable but transferrable and applied to tuition. Full-time status for the DC program is 16+ credits per term; part-time is 8.
Published cost of attendance per trimester, 2026–27
Tuition$14,130
Fees$1,000
Books, course materials, supplies and equipment$1,250
Food and housing$6,968
Transportation$1,474
Miscellaneous personal expenses$4,958
Loan fees$174
Total, in a trimester with no licensing fee$29,954

The university publishes all ten trimesters separately, and the totals differ in four of them because a licensing fee allowance is added in those terms:

Trimester V — licensing fee $710$30,664
Trimester VII — licensing fee $450$30,404
Trimester VIII — licensing fee $1,420$31,374
Trimester IX — licensing fee $1,585$31,539

All totals above are the university's own published figures, not ours.

Two things Parker publishes that the four programs before it did not. It publishes the whole program trimester by trimester — ten separate cost-of-attendance columns rather than one representative term — so the terms that cost more are visible rather than averaged. And it keeps the previous academic year on the same page, publishing 2025–26 alongside 2026–27, which lets a reader see the direction of travel: full-time tuition was $13,718 and is now $14,130. Neither is a comparison with any other school; both are facts about how this page is built.
One published policy worth budgeting around. In the university's own words, its Board of Trustees "reserves the right to increase tuition and fees whenever deemed necessary without prior notice." Printed here because it is material to anyone planning a multi-year budget from the figures above, and because it is the university's own statement rather than our characterisation of it.

What the pages checked do not answer
Among the fields above, these are marked not-published: Degree and licensure, as the program words it, Pre-enrollment practice contact.
Additional required costs beyond tuition
Application fee $75 · tuition deposit $150 · audit fee $50 per credit hour · replacement student ID badge $10, with the first badge provided at no charge. An active-military tuition rate of $250 per credit hour applies to undergraduate and master's level programs under DoD Instruction 1322.25, and the university states it does not cover indirect costs including licensing exams.
NBCE pass rates
Published. Findability path: a footer link on every page titled Public Disclosure on Student Performance, alongside a separate Consumer Information Disclosures link. A footer route, like Sherman's and Life West's. unverified The figures themselves, which sit on that page and were not opened in this pass.
What the board figure measures
unverified Not established in this pass. The university publishes a Public Disclosure on Student Performance page, and what the figure counts — which examination parts, whether a time window applies, and whether any route other than examination is included — was not established from the pages reached. Absence in what we checked is not absence on the site.

What a percentage counts is stated by the college that publishes it. Where a college states its measure, this field carries it in that college's own words.

Publishing practice
Publishes all ten trimesters separately, and publishes the prior academic year alongside the current one on the same page — 2025–26 beside 2026–27, showing full-time tuition at $13,718 then $14,130.
Tuition adjustment notice
Published, in the university's own words: its Board of Trustees “reserves the right to increase tuition and fees whenever deemed necessary without prior notice.” Material to anyone planning a multi-year budget from the figures above.
Student organizations present
unverified Which student association chapters are active, and whether any association membership fee is covered. The university publishes a Student Organizations & Activities page.

Student clubs and organizations

What a student actually does outside class is the part of a program nobody publishes comparably. This section records the categories of organization the university recognizes rather than a roll-call of bodies — any one college’s list is already a selection, and naming only the ones we happen to recognize would privilege the largest for no reason but familiarity.

How the university publishes it
By signpost: the university's own page names no clubs and points to a platform. Its clubs and organizations page describes the categories, states that several clubs are active, and directs readers to Parker Engage, a third-party student-engagement platform carrying the full list with meeting schedules and contact information. A named staff contact is published for questions.

Its governance sits behind a login. The student handbook states that organizations are accountable to a separate Student Organization Handbook available on the university's internal portal — so the rules exist and are referenced publicly, but are not publicly readable.

Publishing practices differ by college, and each is recorded on that college's own page. Here, a platform with the governance behind a login.

Categories of organization the university recognizes
In its own words: professional student organizations, special interest clubs, and technique clubs, alongside the Student Senate as the governing body. The university states organizations exist to expose students to “a wide variety of potential interests and specialties” and that a student may start one that does not exist.

A college's categories describe what it thinks student life is for, and they are published where a full roster often is not.

Governance and student representation
All official student organizations must be approved by the Dean of Student Affairs and recognized by the university, and each is facilitated through staff and faculty advisors. The Student Senate is the policy and decision-making body of the student body. Each trimester class in the chiropractic program elects a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and two Student Senators.

unverified Whether the university sets rules on what technique clubs may do. Its detailed organization handbook is not public. Logan University publishes rules of that kind — limiting technique organizations to categories taught in the curriculum, and barring anything meeting its state's statutory definition of chiropractic practice without present faculty supervision. Whether Parker has an equivalent is not establishable from outside, and its absence from public pages is not evidence either way.

Open to students outside the chiropractic program?
Yes, and this is the broadest published answer of the five. The university's handbook states that student organizations and clubs are open to all Parker students, faculty, and staff.

That matters more here than it would elsewhere, because this is a multi-program university — alongside the Doctor of Chiropractic it runs sonography, radiologic technology, massage therapy and a range of undergraduate and online health-science degrees. A student in another program can join a chiropractic technique club. unverified Whether anyone outside the university, including pre-chiropractic students elsewhere, may attend.

Membership cost
unverified Not published. Another college states the distinction directly and it is worth borrowing rather than paraphrasing — Sherman College publishes: “You can join as many clubs as you'd like at no cost, and there's no obligation once you join. Some clubs offer certifications, which may require purchasing learning materials and attending seminars; these usually involve additional commitment.” unverified Whether the same holds here — Parker does not say. Ask the organization, and ask specifically whether a certification sits behind it.
Does the university cover any national membership fee for its students?
unverified Not stated for any organization. Whether any other college publishes such coverage is unchecked.
Which nationally affiliated organizations run here
unverified Not establishable from the university's own pages, which name none. The full list sits on Parker Engage. The organizations page lists, in each entry’s student block, the college rosters on this site that name the body. If a particular organization matters to you, ask whether a chapter currently runs — and treat that as true of every body equally, not just the largest ones.
How a student joins
Through Parker Engage, which carries meeting schedules and contact information per organization, and through Student Affairs, which publishes a named contact for questions and for starting a new organization. No route here runs through us.
Last checked
September 2026, against the university's clubs and organizations page and its published student handbook. The Parker Engage platform and the internal Student Organization Handbook were not opened — the second is behind a login.
One observation this page can make and the others cannot. Because organizations here are open to students across every program the university runs, a technique club at this campus can contain people who will never be chiropractors — sonographers, massage therapists, radiologic technologists. Whether that happens we do not know. The published rules allow it here, which is a different room from a club open only to chiropractic students.

Board examination fees — published as dated line items

Parker publishes board costs as dated line items, not as a general allowance.

Where the four programs built before this one describe a board-fee allowance in words, Parker puts a Licensing Fee row inside the cost-of-attendance table itself and shows the amount falling in specific trimesters: $710 in Trimester V, $450 in Trimester VII, $1,420 in Trimester VIII and $1,585 in Trimester IX, with the trimester totals rising accordingly.

That tells a student something the others do not: not only that board fees are inside the cost of attendance, but when in the program each one lands. Those four amounts correspond to fees on the NBCE's own published schedule, which is set out on the earnings page. We are not adding them together here or matching each one to a named part — the university does not label them, and a total we computed would be our figure presented as though it were theirs.

Sources. Parker University's own published pages, checked September 2026: the Tuition page (last modified 18 June 2026, carrying the 2026–27 and 2025–26 Doctor of Chiropractic tuition, fees and full ten-trimester cost-of-attendance tables reproduced above, the full-time and part-time credit definitions, the academic-year definition, the tuition-increase policy and the fee schedule) and the footer links to Accreditation, Consumer Information Disclosures and Public Disclosure on Student Performance. Fields marked unverified were not found on the pages we opened and are not filled in from anywhere else — including annual tuition figures circulating on cost-comparison sites, which do not match the university's own published per-term rate, and older fee schedules still reachable on its student portal. Rates are set annually and the university states they may change without prior notice; check the current page before budgeting, and confirm accreditation with the accrediting council and licensure requirements with the relevant state board rather than with any third party, including us.

Nothing on this page is a ranking, a recommendation, or a comparison. No school pays to appear here, to change a field, or to have a peer removed. Every program is described in the same fields at the same length, including the ones we hold no content about.
