Licensure

Licensing body
published The State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Its page sits on the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) portal and links to DPH's Practitioner Licensing and Investigations Section for licensure and examination information. That section's page directs you to its profession links for specific licensing requirements, applications, fees, practice acts, rules, regulations and examination dates. Under section 20-25 of the statute, the board shall hear and decide matters concerning suspension or revocation of licensure, adjudicate complaints against practitioners and impose sanctions where appropriate. The board page lists its members by name.Source: https://portal.ct.gov/en/DPH/Public-Health-Hearing-Office/State-Board-of-Chiropractic-Examiners/State-Board-of-Chiropractic-Examiners · https://portal.ct.gov/dph/practitioner-licensing--investigations/plis/practitioner-licensing--investigations-section?language=en_US · https://www.cga.ct.gov/current/pub/chap_372.htm · checked 2026-10-04

State-specific exam
published An examination prescribed by DPH with the board's advice and consent, made up of a written and a practical examination (CGS sections 20-27(b) and 20-28(a)). The statute says DPH administers it under the board's supervision. It lists the written subjects, says the NBCE national board tests may be accepted as the written examination provided it includes physiotherapy, and describes the practical examination's content without naming it. DPH's licensure requirements page lists the NBCE parts and names no separate state-administered examination. Neither source says whether any NBCE part is accepted as the practical examination.Source: https://www.cga.ct.gov/current/pub/chap_372.htm · https://portal.ct.gov/dph/practitioner-licensing--investigations/chiropractor/chiropractic-licensure-requirements · checked 2026-10-04
