Sherman College of Chiropractic

Boiling Springs, South Carolina

What you are reading, and what it does not tell you

This is what Sherman publishes about its own student organizations. Sherman publishes club names and a description of what clubs do in general. It does not publish a description of any individual club, so the club-by-club field that would carry a club's own words is empty throughout, and this page says so rather than filling it.

Sherman introduces its roster with the word “include.” The list is not presented as complete, and it is not treated as complete here.

It does not tell you what any club is like, how active it is, or whether it is worth joining. Those are judgements about specific students' effort, and they are not made here.

No student is named on this page. Named staff appear inside quotations because a quoted passage is reproduced as published; no staff contact is transcribed into a field. Where Sherman publishes nothing, you will read that it publishes nothing — and absence in what was checked is not absence at the college.

Nothing here is ranked, and the length of this entry is not a judgement. Entry length tracks how much a college publishes, not how much it offers. This entry is shorter than others in this block because Sherman publishes club names and one description covering all clubs, rather than a description per club. It was researched to the same depth as every other entry.

How Sherman publishes its clubs

Five documents carry club information, and they carry different lists. The codes are used on every field below.

[C1] Clubs and Interests at Sherman College
sherman.edu/sherman-college-clubs/ — a blog post carrying the Fall Quarter 2025 list, the cost statement, the collective description and the meeting times. Published 5 December 2025; page modified 5 March 2026. The current primary list.
[C2] Join the Club! Discover Sherman's Student-Led Organizations
sherman.edu/join-the-club-... — a second blog post carrying a different list. unverified The wording is not reproduced: sherman.edu answered our declared agent with HTTP 403 on every attempt, on 20 and 21 September 2026, while its robots.txt permits the path and publishes a 60-second crawl-delay we honoured. No capture we hold contains the page. Absence in what we checked is not absence at the college.
[C3] Clubs and Student Government
sherman.edu/clubs-and-government/ — the governance page. Carries the purpose, membership, powers and meeting arrangements of the student government, and is the page [C2] calls the club directory.
[C4] Clubs Represent a Variety of Interests at Sherman College
sherman.edu/clubs-represent-... — an earlier article carrying an equivalent cost statement and a quotation from a Director of Student Affairs.
[FAQ] Frequently asked questions
sherman.edu/faq/ — answers a club question with a third set of names, several of which appear on neither [C1] nor [C2].
Unresolved The club brochure
unverified [C1] links a club brochure from a word in its text. unverified The wording is not reproduced: sherman.edu answered our declared agent with HTTP 403 on every attempt, on 20 and 21 September 2026, while its robots.txt permits the path and publishes a 60-second crawl-delay we honoured. No capture we hold contains the page. Absence in what we checked is not absence at the college. The address does not survive retrieval — the link text is a word, and the destination was not captured. Two research passes and a verbatim fetch have now failed to obtain it. The one page carrying a full list points to a brochure that cannot be reached from what the page yields. It may carry a sixth list, and it is recorded as unresolved rather than absent.
Two documents name different people in the same role. [C1] quotes a Director for Student Affairs; [C4] quotes a Director of Student Affairs, and the two documents name different individuals. Both names appear inside quotations reproduced as published. Neither is transcribed into a contact field, and no inference is drawn about which is current.

How Sherman's sources relate to each other

Sources partial · each list is a different set
[C1] names 32 organizations for Fall Quarter 2025, introduced with “include” [C2] names 18. unverified The wording is not reproduced: sherman.edu answered our declared agent with HTTP 403 on every attempt, on 20 and 21 September 2026, while its robots.txt permits the path and publishes a 60-second crawl-delay we honoured. No capture we hold contains the page. Absence in what we checked is not absence at the college. [FAQ] names a further set in prose, including several on neither list Neither list claims to be complete, so they do not contradict each other. Each is a partial view, and a reader using one alone gets a different set of names. All three are recorded below, by document.
Sources conflict · the name of the student body
[C1] and [C3] use Chiropractic Student Government (CSG) [FAQ] uses Chiropractic Student Congress Sherman does not reconcile the two. Both are recorded with their sources. This page does not describe it as a rename, because Sherman does not say that it is one.
A source delegates
[C1] points to a club brochure for the most recent list [C2] points to [C3] as the club directory, and to application forms for starting a club Each document points at another for the current answer. Recorded as delegation. The brochure sits at the end of that chain and was not opened.

What the college lists

Sherman states no total. What can be counted is how many names each document carries.

Names by document

Retrieved 9 September 2026

[C1] listed 32 organizations for Fall Quarter 2025, and [C2] listed 18 as current organizations, when read on 9 September 2026. Sherman states no total.

Neither list is a total. Both lists are introduced with “include”, the [FAQ] adds names carried by neither, and the brochure was not read. Some names on the two lists may be one club written two ways; they are set out below and not merged.

What Sherman publishes about clubs in general

Sherman publishes one description covering all clubs rather than a description per club. It is quoted here in full.

What clubs do — the collective description
“Each club offers different benefits; however, most clubs will host seminars, calls with doctors, extra practice with techniques, and more! Most of our clubs meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:00 a.m. (lunch), so that students are available to attend.”

Field 4 across every Sherman club: collective description, no per-club description. This is what a student learns about what club life is like, and it says nothing about which club to join. Source: [C1]

Membership cost — field 7a
“You can join as many clubs as you'd like at no cost, and there's no obligation once you join. Some clubs offer certifications, which may require purchasing learning materials and attending seminars; these usually involve additional commitment. These certifications are optional, and you can participate in a club without pursuing certification.”

Source: [C1]. An equivalent statement appears in [C4]: You can join as many clubs as you like at no cost, and there is no commitment when you join a club. [C1] adds the certification sentences; [C4] does not carry them.

National-body cost — field 7b
unverified Not sourced Sherman publishes no figure for any affiliated body. Its lists name organizations that set their own student dues — among them the ICA, the ICPA and the IFCO, each documented on the organizations page. The free thing is the campus club. What a national body charges is a separate fact that Sherman does not state.
Starting a club
You can even start a club if there's a topic or area of interest that you're passionate about that we don't already have on campus.

[C1] adds: These clubs are student-run and organized, so if there's something else you'd like to see on campus, you can start your own club and become a leader here. [C2] points to application forms. Sources: [C1][C2]

Open to pre-chiropractic or other-school students — field 6
unverified Not sourced Not stated for any club. [C1] frames club participation as beginning once you're enrolled as a student at Sherman College of Chiropractic, which is a statement about when, not about who. No inference is drawn from it.
Status and mechanism — field 10
unverified Not sourced No status marker and no mechanism are published for any club. [C1] states clubs may change from quarter to quarter, depending on our students' needs and interests, and [C2] states clubs are determined by student interest and may vary. Neither is a status marker for a named club, so no status is recorded for any Sherman club.
Public social handle — field 9
unverified Not sourced No handle is published for any club on any document read. Recorded as none published throughout.
How you join — field 8
Through Club Day, held each quarter by Student Affairs, and through the departmental addresses Sherman publishes for Student Affairs and for the student government. Departmental addresses exist and are not reproduced here. Sources: [C1][C3]
Whether Sherman covers any national membership fee
unverified Not sourced Not stated for any organization. The free-to-join statement covers campus club membership. Whether Sherman covers a national body's student dues is not addressed on any document read.

The student body — two names, unreconciled

Chiropractic Student Government (CSG)
“The purpose of CSG is to build leadership skills and relationships among students as they work within the governance process to address the needs of the student body. CSG serves as the liaison between the student body and the administration by representing the student interest. Membership open to all academic quarters. CSG has the responsibility for oversight of all campus clubs. CSG general assembly meetings are conducted on alternating Tuesdays of each month. Meetings are open to all students and all students are encouraged to attend and voice their opinions and concerns. The CSG Office is located on the second floor of the Gelardi Student Center.”

Published powers: oversight of all campus clubs; liaison between students and administration · Membership: open to all academic quarters · Meetings: alternating Tuesdays, open to all students · Election method and cycle: unverified Not sourced not published · Sources: [C3]; also named on [C1]

Chiropractic Student Congress
[FAQ] names Chiropractic Student Congress among specialised interest clubs.

unverified Sherman does not state the relationship between this name and Chiropractic Student Government. Both are recorded with their sources. This page does not describe either as a rename of the other, and does not merge them. Source: [FAQ]

Organisation names, by document

Names as each document publishes them, in that document's own order. No description exists for any of them. Where two documents use different words for what may be the same club, both words are recorded and the clubs are not merged.
