How to read this page. Every field carries one of three states and they are never collapsed to two: published — the document exists and answers; not-published — the document exists and does not answer; unverified — the document exists and could not be read, or was not reached. Text inside double quotation marks is the college’s own wording, reproduced as published including any typographical error; text outside them is ours. Nothing on this page is added up. Where the college publishes components and no total, the components are listed and the missing total is stated. Nothing here compares this college with any other.

The Doctor of Chiropractic Program at Texas Chiropractic College is designed to fulfill the educational prerequisites for chiropractic licensure in Texas and in numerous other states and territories. However, licensure requirements differ among jurisdictions and may include specific pre-professional coursework, examinations, or other conditions. Prospective students are advised to consult the licensing requirements of the state or territory in which they intend to practice prior to enrolling in the program to ensure compliance with all jurisdiction-specific expectations.

Licensure and educational requirements set by individual states/jurisdictions are subject to change at any time. Prospective and currently enrolled TCC students should regularly review the licensing requirements for their intended state or jurisdiction of practice to ensure ongoing eligibility.

The table below outlines whether the Doctor of Chiropractic Program (DCP) at Texas Chiropractic College meets the educational requirements for licensure in each state or jurisdiction. It identifies where the program fully meets licensure requirements, where it does not meet those requirements, and where a determination has not yet been made regarding alignment with state or jurisdictional standards.

Cost figures that differ by campus or living arrangement
published

By LIVING ARRANGEMENT, in the cost of attendance, as two columns headed "Not at Home" and "At Home". One campus, so there is no campus gap to publish.

TCC states who the two columns are for: These budgets are provided to assist financial aid officers in developing living expense budgets for their independent, off-campus and at home students.

Estimated Cost of Attendance Per Trimester, 2026-2027 Academic Year. Columns "Not at Home"

"At Home". Tuition $14,798

$14,798. Equipment Fees $364

$364. Total cost allowance for tuition and fees $15,162

$15,162. Books, Course Materials, Supplies, and Equipment $1,300

$1,300. Food and Housing $6,862

$3,432. Transportation $1,425

$1,425. Miscellaneous Personal Expenses $4,296

$4,298. Loan Fees $174

$174. Total cost allowance for indirect costs $14,060

$10,628. Total (estimated) Cost of Attendance $29,220

$25,790.

TWO ROWS DIFFER, NOT ONE. Food and Housing differs by design. Miscellaneous Personal Expenses ALSO differs - $4,296 against $4,298, by two dollars - in a row where every other non-housing row is identical across the two columns. Reproduced exactly as published; no view is taken on whether it is intended.

All totals are TCC's own published cells and none is computed here.

What it costs, as the college publishes it

Cost of attendance

Tuition for the whole program. not-published The document checked carries no figure of this kind for this program.

Cost of attendance for the whole program. not-published The document checked carries no figure of this kind for this program.

Annual tuition. not-published The document checked carries no figure of this kind for this program.

How the figures are shown. published

One representative term - a trimester - with the year named: Estimated Cost of Attendance Per Trimester, 2026-2027 Academic Year. The programme length is published on a different page, the educational outcomes page, as Normal Length of Program - 10 Trimesters.

The tuition page dates its rate by ENROLLMENT COHORT rather than by academic year: the column heading is Enrollment Dates and the single row reads Enrolled after Sept. 1, 2023. So the tuition table tells a reader which students a rate applies to and not which year it is for, while the cost of attendance tells them the year and not the cohort.

Is a prior year shown beside the current one?

No. "2025-2026" and "2024-2025" occur zero times in the cost of attendance document, and the tuition page publishes a single cohort row with no earlier rate beside it.

Qualifier attached to the figures. published

The document is titled Estimated Cost of Attendance Per Trimester, and the qualifier is the title. Location: the catalog page heading and breadcrumb. TCC also states the budget's provenance rather than its own authority: The budgets are developed based on data from the most recent years' Consumer Expenditure Survey (CES), produced by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Required costs beside tuition

Are board or licensure examination fees inside the published cost of attendance? published No. The published cost of attendance carries no board, licensure or examination row of any kind, and the words are absent from the document entirely.

Mechanism recorded: none shown

The cost of attendance is published on the catalog host at Estimated Cost of Attendance Per Trimester, headed 2026-2027 Academic Year. Its rows are: Tuition; Equipment Fees; Total cost allowance for tuition and fees; Books, Course Materials, Supplies, and Equipment; Food and Housing; Transportation; Miscellaneous Personal Expenses; Loan Fees; Total cost allowance for indirect costs; Total (estimated) Cost of Attendance.

The absence is complete and was tested rather than assumed: "NBCE", National Board, "Licens", "licens", "Board" and "board" each occur ZERO times in the document - not merely no board row, but no occurrence of the word in any form.

TCC states what the budget is built from, and it is not an institutional schedule: The budgets are developed based on data from the most recent years' Consumer Expenditure Survey (CES), produced by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. So the indirect side is a federal statistical budget rather than a TCC estimate, which is itself an answer to how the COA is built.

The program’s own rate table. published Recorded as: no

Mechanism recorded for that table: none shown

The tuition and fees page publishes three tables. Tuition: Enrollment Dates / "Cost", one row - Enrolled after Sept. 1, 2023 $14,848. Part-time: Part Time BS/DC tuition per credit hour (1-11.5 credits) $1,237/credit hour. Then a 17-row fee list: course audit, elective tuition TBD per course, emergency loan, D.C. degree program application fee $50, NSF, transcript copy, replacement ID, replacement name badge, make-up examination $75*, replacement diploma, diploma copy, replacement award certificate, advance tuition deposit $100**, B.S. degree processing $500***, advance standing minimum and maximum, and Equipment fee (Tri 1-5) $320.

No board or licensure fee among them. "NBCE", National Board, Licensing Board, "board fee" and "Board Fee" occur zero times on the page - tested. The four "Licens" hits are a footer nav label (Licensure Disclosure) and a JavaScript MIT-licence comment, checked against context rather than counted.

TCC MAKES A CLAIM ABOUT COMPLETENESS: The published tuition rate includes all required educational costs and institutional fees associated with enrollment. Recorded as published. It says nothing about examination costs payable to a third party, and this dataset draws no inference either way.

THE TWO DOCUMENTS DISAGREE ON TWO FIGURES. Tuition is $14,848 on the tuition page and $14,798 in the cost of attendance. The equipment charge is "$320" as Equipment fee (Tri 1-5) on the tuition page and "$364" as Equipment Fees in the cost of attendance. Both documents are current and both are labelled 2026-2027 or later. Recorded as each publishes it; NOT reconciled.

Tuition adjustment notice
published

Published beneath the fee table: Tuition and fees are determined prior to the fall trimester and maintained throughout the academic year (September through August). The published tuition rate includes all required educational costs and institutional fees associated with enrollment. New students will be charged the tuition rate in effect at the time of enrollment. Tuition rates are evaluated annually and adjusted as necessary.

This is a HOLD-STEADY clause rather than a reserve-the-right clause: it commits to maintaining the rate through a named span (September through August), fixes the rate for a new student at the time of enrollment, and then says rates are reviewed annually. It reserves no right to change mid-year and promises no notice, because on its own terms none is needed within the year.

What the college states its board figure measures, in its own words
published

PUBLISHED WITH A CAVEAT AGAINST ITS OWN FIGURE. The following table depicts students who have completed all four parts of the NBCE exams within six months of graduation. And, in a separate block: Texas Chiropractic College does not require students to take all four parts of the NBCE exams prior to graduation. The college goes on to say its Part IV scores provide a more accurate depiction of success rates of TCC students as it includes students up to three years after graduation. So TCC publishes the six-month all-parts figure and tells a reader it understates. The two sentences sit in separate block elements and are quoted separately.
